Write a report
Write your own race report in a few minutes, no account needed, with photos and videos. Our editors check it before publication.
Writing a race report only takes a few minutes once you have the key points in mind. You do not need an account, the form is right at the bottom of this page.
Step by step
Give your report a title, name the event and tell us how it went: travel, your impression of the course and obstacles, how things ran on site, and your own tips for other runners. You can optionally attach your own photos and videos, up to 10 photos of at most 15 MB each and 2 videos of at most 100 MB each. Finally, add your name and email address so we can reach you with questions, and submit the report.
Tips for photos
Photos make a report more vivid, though they are not required. What matters is that you took the photos and videos yourself or hold all rights to them, and that anyone recognisable in them has agreed to publication. You confirm this when submitting. At the same time you allow us to show the files on OCR Guide and on our social media channels, the details are in the terms of use. Sharp shots of specific sections of the course or obstacles are often more useful to readers than finish-line photos alone.
Editorial check before publication
Every submitted report is checked by our editorial team before it goes live. This keeps adverts and irrelevant content out. Once approved, your report appears among the race reports and is visible to other runners.
If we have questions
If anything stands out during the check, such as an unclear passage or a missing detail, we get in touch with a short question before publishing the report. This keeps the quality of the collection high without rejecting good reports unnecessarily.
