Report content
How to report unlawful content on OCR Guide under the Digital Services Act, and what happens to your report afterwards.
Last updated: 1 October 2026. The German version is legally binding.
Under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) you can report content on OCR Guide that you consider unlawful, for example in race reports, reviews, comments or club profiles.
What you can report
You can report content that, for example, infringes personality rights, is abusive or defamatory, breaches copyright, incites violence, or is otherwise unlawful. You can also report breaches of our terms of use that are not themselves unlawful, we will then review them under our own rules.
Information we need
To handle a report, we need:
- the exact URL of the content concerned,
- an explanation of why you consider the content unlawful or in breach of our rules,
- your name and an email address we can use for follow-up questions,
- a statement that, to the best of your knowledge, you believe in good faith that the information in the report is accurate and complete.
How we handle reports
On receiving your report, we review the reported content promptly and carefully. If the content is indeed unlawful or breaches our terms of use, we remove it or disable access to it and, where possible and legally permitted, inform the person who submitted the content of our decision. In unclear cases we may ask you or the affected member for further information.
